| Name: Brittany Jack Position: CEO Brittany is a Novacastrian who has been an engaged feminist since her teen years. She’s lucky enough to have lived and worked in Newcastle, Sydney, London, Glasgow and Edinburgh and loves learning what works to help people thrive in each place.
After many years in human services including homelessness, disability, aged care, youth, and employment, she was honoured to take up the mantle of leading Nova, an organisation with a proud history of supporting the women of her home town. She is growth minded and knows that the best outcomes for our community happen in collaboration, not competition. She’s really proud of developing her teams, and is thankful to the Aboriginal women and men who have taught her about the country she was born in and it's rich history and cultures.
She along with her colleagues in the sector are working towards a world without gendered violence, and where women and children have a safe, comfortable place they can call home that allows them to engage in their community.
When not at work you might find her catching live music or dance, or taking a dip at one of Newcastle’s best swimming spots. |  |
